If you loved those Goosebumps Choose Your Own Adventure books as a kid, may I introduce you to interactive fiction?

I'd made it well into adulthood not having "heard of" interactive fiction, so if anyone else was Today Years Old, don't worry: I was, too.

It's essentially a text-based game where choices you make -- to a lesser or greater degree -- impact the experience of playing through the story.

Naturally, I wanted to have a go at creating some, and here it is, my ACOTAR spoof: A Court of Thorns and Choices. This is a FOND romantasy parody: no shade here, just love and giggles. Press the fullscreen button for best playing experience or check it out on itch.io here: https://jessthompsonwriter.itch.io/a-court-of-risk-and-choices-mvp.

I’m a NOVELIST?

I finished the first draft of my novel, and I kind of can't believe it?
